g3dviewer-dbg software package provides g3dviewer debug symbols package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install g3dviewer-dbg
g3dviewer-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the g3dviewer-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep g3dviewer-dbg *
You will get with g3dviewer-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
